To my first donor, I’m sorry your liver couldn’t have been my forever liver. I’m forever grateful for the opportunity at life and for your liver to keep me going until I found my forever liver. To my second donor, I waited 16 months for a new liver. You stopped the daily IV antibiotics and never-ending pain. Your liver was also a part of a medical trial that will help many people. My first transplant saved my life, my second gave me back my life. Thank you x
