My organ donors
It is impossible to say how significant this liver transplant was to me, and now to my little boy. I was perfectly healthy until I suffered unexplained acute liver failure, aged 32, in 2007. Within weeks I was told I would die in a few days if I didn't receive a donor liver. I was very lucky that one was donated. I would have died without a liver transplant and my little boy would not be here. We will both be eternally grateful, and humbled to be here purely due to somebody else's kindness.
